(PMG), a leading national supplier of revenue cycle management and billing services to community health centers (CHCs), announced today it has entered into an agreement to serve Richland Community Health Care Association (RCHCA) of Columbia, S.C. The contractual arrangement calls for PMG to deliver a comprehensive suite of services in back-end billing, denial management, revenue enhancement and claims submission. RCHCA, a federally qualified community health center (FQHC), offers a wide range of health care services, including comprehensive primary care, outpatient substance abuse, case management, HIV services and testing, and diabetes and cancer screening. Since its founding, RCHCA has grown steadily in terms of patients served, unduplicated encounters and programs offered to residents of Columbia and surrounding communities. RCHCA chose PMG after a thorough process that included a Request for Proposal, onsite presentations and reference checks with a significant number of CHC clients of PMG. The process also involved a benchmarking evaluation of the organization that included both industry-standard and CHC-centric data.
