Franklin Primary Health Center Selects PMG for Its Billing NeedsPawtucket, R.I., and Mobile, Ala. – September 13, 2011 – Priority Management Group, Inc. (PMG), a leading supplier of outsourced billing services for community health centers (CHCs), announced today it will provide billing services to Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. (FPHC). FPHC is a federally qualified community health center (FQHC) with 15 clinic locations in Alabama. The organization has delivered quality health care for over 35 years and offers a comprehensive set of services — including medical primary and specialty care, dental services, behavioral health and substance abuse care — to thousands of area residents annually. FPHC also cares for homeless patients in its service area. Under the agreement, PMG will deliver a wide-ranging suite of services (e.g. revenue enhancement, denial management, sliding-fee scales) beginning this month. Consulting services will include a full onsite operational assessment to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the front-end billing process along with ongoing training sessions to ensure appropriate coding by providers. "Due to various factors, we have noticed that our accounts receivable from certain payment sources are not as current as they should be" said Charles White, CEO of FPHC. "We are proud to partner with PMG in managing our patient care receivables. We are confident that their expertise in CHC billing will help us minimize receivable write-offs and maximize our cash flow, which in turn will help us serve our patients better." "My partners and I are proud to announce the relationship with FPHC, a high-profile FQHC with a proven track record of achievement, and welcome the organization into our CHC family of clients," said Robert Skeffington, PMG co-founder and partner. "We will work with their staff and allow them to focus on their mission of serving patients while leaving the business of billing to us — a core competency of ours." |
