1. Immunization Administration
The AMA's CPT panel created new Immunization Administration codes that included counseling. These codes were effective January 2011. The codes expand the age range for immunization counseling services from 8 years to 18 years. These codes have also been expanded to be coded per vaccine component not per administration.
