Who We Are

Priority Management Group, Inc. (PMG) offers unmatched expertise in revenue cycle management for community health centers (CHCs).

Upon incorporating in 1998, PMG began offering services to any willing healthcare client. Soon, we were servicing more than 20 different specialties, from primary care to vascular surgery to neurology. In 2006 we began our gradual transition to a CHC-only business.

As such, PMG focuses solely on CHC revenue cycle management — including coding, billing and reimbursement — and works to optimize each client's financial position, legally and ethically.

Recognizing the mission of CHCs, we take a unique approach to collections that emphasizes the application of proven billing processes. By helping to increase revenue from third-party payers, we allow CHCs to better deliver quality health care to the uninsured and underserved.

In addition, we speak the CHC language. We know what sliding-fee scales are — and why CHCs use them. And we have an appreciation of nearly everything else in the CHC world, including UDS reporting, cost-based Medicaid reimbursement, school-based health centers, dental claims, substance abuse/detox billing, UGS/NGS Medicare and CHC-centric specialties.

Proven Results

At PMG, we provide timely, metric-driven and substantive feedback that produces impressive financial results for our clients.

For example, three current CHC clients who hired us to manage their revenue cycle process saw their encounter rate increase over $20 per patient encounter, an increase of over 40%. Interestingly, the change in charges (gross revenue) — which indicates the growth or shrinkage of business — remained almost flat, averaging less than 5%.

Please note: These are just a few of many clients who can testify to our level of expertise and quality work product. Please contact us for a list of references.

Credentials

PMG has worked hard to establish itself within key trade organizations. Our relationship with the National Association of Community Health Centers(NACHC) has resulted in consultative work for troubled CHCs, engagement with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on their behalf, tackling emerging issues around PCMH/ACO and writing a book: CHC Billing 101. PMG is thankful for and flattered by the ongoing work with NACHC and its member CHCs.

In addition, PMG is a regular speaker and consultant with numerous state and regional CHC organizations and/or PCAs, including:
