PMG works each day to maximize its strengths around coding-, billing- and reimbursement-related activity. However, recognizing and addressing our shortcomings is equally important.
We seek partnerships with consultants and/or organizations leading the industry in their respective fields. The following is a representative list of such relationships:
- Electronic Data Integrity: This work optimizes electronic claim filing, eligibility verification, claim scrubbing and automated aspects of claim adjudication. Our partners make this process seamless to clients and payers.
- Document Management: Working with millions of pages each year, we depend on our document management vendor to assure ease of search capability, maintenance of PHI via embedded security and OCR across all pages.
- Patient Statement Processing: Most of PMG's nearly 1.5 million encounters result in some form of patient liability. Creating, stuffing and mailing patient statements would be time-consuming and expensive if not for our partner in patient statements.
- Practice Management Expertise: Working on more than half a dozen billing platforms is less daunting because we have access to certified industry professionals who cut through the murkiness of tables, files and interfaces.
- Reporting Optimization: Outside of UDS reporting, "one-off" report requests from our clients is the norm. Whether a grant request file or a mandatory state report, PMG meets the needs of CHCs thanks to the expertise of our data extraction partners.
